Stieglitz's publication Camera Work, with its beautifully produced photogravures is considered pivotal in the acceptance of "photography as art" early in the 20th century.  In addition, it provided a lab for photographers who went on to make further major contributions to the development of the medium.  This show will include between 15 and 20 photogravures, including examples from the publication itself (Stieglitz, Steichen, Gertrude Kasebier, Clarence White, Anne Brigman and others) and later practitioners (Doris Ulmann, Strand...).
There will be a presentation and discussion during the opening.
